SPAN, a leading consultant and integrator for distribution centers, supply chains, and workplace requirements, has successfully completed a new state-of-the-art facility at DSV, Global Transport and Logistics Solutions in Bahrain.
The SPAN team designed a comprehensive solution to leverage DSV’s capabilities while optimizing productivity across the facility. The tailored solution is comprised of a very narrow aisle (VNA) pallet racking system catering to approximately 25,000 pallet positions in dry and cold store areas. With an already existing storage capacity of 42,000 pallets this brings the total capacity to 67,000 pallets across 75,000 square meters. The increase in capacity enables DSV to continue to support its customers in a market of increasing interest and demand.
